Once you have created your account and wish to invest you will be asked to get your identity verified. At the first step, you will be asked to fill in your personal information such as your name, address, and date of birth. It is very important that you provide real details as this might have legal consequences otherwise. We have two different ways to verify your identity:
You will be connected over a video call with a verification agent. The process is conducted by our KYC partner, IDNow, that performs a BaFin complaint procedure. Over a call, you will be required to present your Identity document: ID or passport. IDNow supports only selected countries, for the full list please click here.
Your verification will be confirmed up to 10 minutes after the call. We encourage all of our investors to choose the instant verification as it’s the fastest way to fully activate the account.
Manual verification is available for individuals as an option, and mandatory for businesses. You will be asked to provide us with the following documents:
POI (Proof of Identity) document which should contain your name, date of birth, a clear photograph and issue date. If the document has an expiry date, that should be visible as well.
POA (Proof of Address) document which should contain your full name, address and an issue date, which should not be older than six months. The name or logo of the issuer should also be clearly visible.
Your documents will be checked by our KYC agents within one business day.
