This tutorial will show you how to register your Neufund account using the wallet you used to commit capital during the Initial Capital Building Mechanism (ICBM).

Currently, we accept the following wallets:

  1. MetaMask

  2. Ledger Nano

  3. Mist ,Parity and MEW are supported by using MetaMask interface

Before proceeding to register, please note the following:

  1. In order to access to your ICBM commitment, you need to register on the platform using the wallet with which you made your commitment, even if you transferred your NEU tokens to another wallet at a later stage.

  2. Before beginning the registration process, please make sure you have only one wallet plugin active in your browser. Otherwise, the system will not be able to establish a connection.

  3. We recommend that you use Chrome for the registration process.

  4. Currently, it is not possible to connect two different wallets to your Neufund account simultaneously. We do recognize, however, that some investors made their ICBM commitment with one wallet, and later transferred their NEU tokens to a different one. For the time being, you can create multiple accounts and link one wallet to each as a workaround.

MetaMask

  1. Enable your MetaMask browser plugin and login to the account you used during the ICBM. You can do this by choosing from the list visible under the profile icon in the upper right corner in the plugin ( ) and entering the password of your chosen wallet. If you don’t have the plugin yet, please download it from official MetaMask webpage.

  2. Make sure you are using Chrome We do not support Metamask for Firefox, because it’s older than this plugin for Chrome browser.

  3. Head to the Neufund registration page. Select “Register with external wallet”.

  4. Follow the instructions on the screen.

  5. Once you have successfully registered, head to the “Settings” section to confirm your email address and complete the verification process.

  2. Head to your Ethereum Wallet desktop application. In the toolbar menu of the application, navigate to File > Backup > Accounts. Select the JSON file of the wallet with which you made your ICBM commitment. For your convenience copy the file to the desktop of your computer.

  3. Head to the MetaMask plugin in your Chrome browser. If you don’t have the plugin yet, you can download it from official MetaMask webpage.

  4. Once your MetaMask plugin is switched on, select the upper right corner icon () and choose “Import Account” from the context menu.

  5. Where it says “Select type”, choose “JSON FILE.” Then select the file you copied from Backup folder of the Ethereum Wallet desktop application. Enter the password to your Ethereum Wallet. To confirm the import, click “Import”.

  6. You have now successfully added your Mist account to the MetaMask interface.

  7. Head to the Neufund registration page. Select “Register with external wallet.”

  8. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Other wallets

As we shared previously during the Initial Capital Building Mechanism (ICBM), we currently support the following wallets: MetaMask and Ledger Nano. There is also a migration tool where ICBM investors who have used non-supported wallets will be able to transfer their ICBM commitment to a new wallet. The instructions to use it are on this link.
